The latest versions of the five major most web browsers (Mozilla Firefox 3.5, Google Chrome 3.0, Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0, Opera 10.0, and Apple Safari 4.0) went head to head under six performance indicators: JavaScript speed, average CPU usage under stress, DOM selection, CSS rendering speed, page load time, and browser cache performance. Each web browser was tested three times under an unprimed cache (except for the browser cache performance), and their average value reported in the results.

Wow these are “THE” tools u have here mate ….
Dont think i have ever come across so much details in the stats provided elsewhere, but another great option would be to compare ratios as opposed to other browsers on a single page …
so its instantly clear on a single page …as opposed to using 3 links to Figure out the differences between 3 browsers … an In my opinion
Google Chrome Rocks !!!

I think this benchmark almost represent the reality. Firefox is very slow if we open many tabs, it consume so much RAM.

Well there is no doubt that Internet Explorer is the best web browser . But if you ask me i will prefer Mozilla Firefox . It is more faster thats my observation . And it has got some options like multiple upload at once , which internet explorer does not have.

From my personal experience I feel that Mozilla Firefox is the best web browser. Its the most heavily customizable browser with support for almost everything and its blazing fast. Internet Explorer really sucks in every respect. Google Chrome is fast for some specific Google sites but functionality wise is very plain without any customizations….

Nice and seems more realistic comparison although there are many choices available but every browser have their own unique property which differentiate them from others i personally prefer firefox which is more sophisticated functionality available which i can’t found anyother browser may have some minor bugs as well which can easily ignore although chrome is speedy browser but still lack of many important things which needs to be improved anyway comparison in this article is so good thanks for sharing.

I’m using Opera for over 4 years and it works very well even if all this tests shows something else. Though, it’s the most recomended browser for using on slow network conections.

I only use 2 browser, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. So far, my favorite is Google Chrome because not only it’s fast but i can also choose many themes. I also like Mozilla Firefox because it’s much faster than any browser. I dislike using Internet Explorer, it is so slow.

Nice information man…i used to think opera is the fastest. But these results clearly show Google Chrome decimates the competition by a big margin.
